PROFILE Digital Response Inc. is a pre-press service bureau for the printing industry. We provide file conversions from PC & Mac files to Hi Res PDF, high resolution film separations, high end scanning, color retouching and data manipulation, as well as digital and conventional color proofs. We also can supply short digital color runs (Up to 250 copies). We support both Mac and PC platforms. We are open 14 hours a day, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Central time, Monday to Friday, and are well-known for our quick service, troubleshooting complex files and our tight quality control measures HISTORY Digital Response Inc. was founded in 1996, but our conventional printing background dates back to 1964. The president, Jean-Philippe Dewulf, is a former instructor for the Hell corporation, and early in his career, he traveled worldwide installing Klischograph engravers and Chromograph scanners in various printing and pre-press plants. He came to the U.S. in 1972, and was responsible for troubleshooting color quality issues in companies located in the U.S. and Canada. In 1978, he established himself in the Chicago area, and served as pre-press manager for Liberty Photoengraving, Schawk Graphics and The Color Company. The name, Digital Response Inc., grew out of addressing the challenges faced by conventional dot etchers and stripping departments in adapting to newer electronic processes. Our industry continues to evolve, and we pride ourselves on our quick response to its changes. It is our goal to continue to educate ourselves and improve our service to our customers.
